A doctor’s daily work is filled with examinations, consultations, phone calls, and administration. And it is often the administrative tasks that take up time that could be spent with patients. That is why we have created a dedicated space for doctors on our new website.
It allows you to easily and securely create an electronic referral for an examination — without printing, signing paper forms, or making phone calls. Just a few clicks and the referral is ready for processing. Anytime, anywhere, even without picking up the phone.
How does it work?
On the main page of medirad.sk, the doctor navigates to the section “I want to book a patient and I am a doctor.” They fill in basic information about themselves and the patient. The generated referral is then verified using their signature via one of two available methods.
- Electronic signature via Autogram — if the doctor has an ID card with a chip and the Autogram app installed, they can sign the referral fully digitally. No paper, no printer. The entire process takes just a minute.
- Scanned stamp with signature — don’t have an eID or Autogram yet? No problem. Simply photograph or scan your stamp with signature and attach it to the referral. Fast and simple.
An online referral means the doctor does not need to hand over any physical documents to the patient — the referral is immediately available in the system, eliminating the risk of the patient losing it or forgetting it at home.
