Preparation for the Examination
No special preparation is required. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the examined limbs. Do not smoke for at least 2 hours before the examination, as nicotine affects vascular tone and may distort the results.
What to Bring
Bring your doctor's referral, if you have one, and a list of current medications. Previous results of arterial examinations or reports from a vascular surgeon are also helpful.
